Openshift

Red Hat OpenShift is one of the most popular Kubernetes platforms out there. Here are some guides on how to deploy various OKD/Openshift clusters, as well as how to configure them to work with Avi.

About the different versions:

  • Openshift – Kubernetes container platform with support, provided by Red Hat
  • OKD – Origin Kubernetes Distribution, Opensource

Step by Step Guide to deploy an Openshift cluster in vSphere, and integrate with AKO and Avi

  1. Configure Bootstrap VM for Openshift and Install Openshift
  2. Deploy Avi and configure Cloud
  3. Deploy AKO
  4. Test L4 Type LoadBalancer for OpenShift
  5. Test L7 for OpenShift
